Why TAMID
The education, the experiences, and the network that follow you after graduation.
ABOUT TAMID @ BERKELEY
TAMID at Berkeley was one of the first chapters of what is now a 50+ university national organization. We've spent over fifteen years connecting Cal's most driven students with Israel's innovation economy through real consulting work, live investing, and a summer fellowship abroad. Our members come from every major across campus, united by curiosity and a drive to do meaningful work before they graduate.

EDUCATION
Your first semester in TAMID
Every new TAMID member spends their first semester in Education, a structured onboarding program that builds the foundation you need before joining Consulting or the Fund. It's not just lectures; it's case competitions, guest speakers, a stock pitch showcase, and your first look at the Israeli business ecosystem.
Finance & marketing curriculum
Weekly sessions covering the building blocks of business: financial statements, market sizing, competitive analysis, and more.
Guest speakers
Professionals from consulting, finance, and the Israeli tech ecosystem share their experience directly with new members
Stock pitch competition
Research an Israeli stock, build a thesis, and present to a panel; your first taste of what the Fund track looks like in practice.
Case competition
Compete against other TAMID chapters nationally, applying your consulting skills to a real business problem under time pressure.
FELLOWSHIP
Eight weeks in Israel
After completing Education and at least one semester on a track, TAMID members are eligible to apply for the Fellowship, an eight-week summer internship in Israel with a leading company. It's TAMID's capstone experience: a chance to live and work in one of the world's most dynamic startup ecosystems, and to understand firsthand why Israel punches above its weight in global business.
